Sensory Overload (Planting Seeds)
searching for an alternative route around the hill
Everyone I see has joined the line to nowhere
Accomplices of a system they had no say in
Chasing what they’re told is important
Gratefully fighting wars for their own oppressors
Lemonade from lemons
Then we cut down the tree so people could afford to buy it
This made lemonade scarce
We had to choose which mouths were worthy
Everything rests on your ignorance
This great, widespread obliviousness
This is ours and we are great
So long as you do not plant another lemon tree
Now do you finally understand,
Can you see why lemon seeds must be prohibited?
The law is enforced to protect you
It does not perpetuate the interests of the ruling class
Our society is classless, we are all given equal opportunity
If you do not believe that then you are the problem
Our wars are fought to protect your freedoms
All the freedoms which we have bestowed upon you
You are wrong for remaining ungrateful
Emulate your ancestors and brethren
They are willing to give their lives for these freedoms
Gratefully fighting our wars, for you
We are the only ones who can make lemonade
You need to focus on earning money so you can afford a chair and a glass
If you are lucky and you work hard, one day you can buy a sip of lemonade
We have your replacements salivating for a taste
Be thankful of the position you were given
Obey and follow
So that when snowflakes cover your grave, you’ll have everything you’ve dreamed of
We have tactfully extracted your own opinions and implanted our truths
Now get in line and walk up the hill
Become our taxpaying cattle
Other ways of life have been tested a thousand times over
This is the only way freedom survives
So long as we control and enforce
Your submission is unavoidable
Whiskey and wine for the workforce
They’ll never touch our lemonade
