Of Thoughts and Poems
I fear not loneliness
rather, I embrace it.
Not a poem, just a thought
unless thoughts are poetic
just as stars and satellites
relatively speaking
are both lights in the clear night sky
with but the faintest flutter of a difference.
However, in the absolute
they are light years apart
and while one most naturally marks true north
man’s creations search for which
direction to go.
If these lights showed me
the opposite of a centaur
would then I be insane
or artistic and simply not plain?
And how could the moon be so bright
through all of these city lights?
