Art should allow each individual within its audience to find their own personal meaning. Good art should not create awestruck masses. Good art should incite arguments, challenge thinking, inspire greatness. It should piss off its supporters and intrigue its critics. Art should save the suicidal and terrorize the comfortable, kill manipulation and punish the fearful. Clear a path for the innovative and ridicule the greedy, pathetic, copiers. So before you begin, are you prepared to make art? Am I? I am prepared to be the public enemy. I am prepared to be hated. I am prepared to be ridiculed. Honestly, how else would my creativity be fueled? How could my hard work be rated? Hate, love, and be indifferent. I’d rather you didn’t give a fuck than say my art was “good.”
