The man slowly spoke, as you can only imagine one would.
I stared deeply into his dead gray eyes. I sat well-postured and emotionless. I was lunging over my right shoulder, screaming and threatening, cursing and gesturing. I was curled up beneath my left elbow, drowned in paranoia, whimpering like a beaten mutt. Without a single movement aside from the long and silent nasal inhales and exhales, I stared deeply into his dead gray eyes. With each passing moment of silent rivalry, I saw the bricks fall from his castle of control. The proverbial table softly spun as I conquered the man's notion of power and disassembled his idea of influence.
