A captive of insanity
Nothing near your brief moment of vanity
lost is the soul
repeatedly I pay the same toll
crushed is the mind
always I think in rewind
dissolved is the heart
sold all the pieces, half price at Walmart
CAZ
has
no place in this world
he is the lie the devil hurled
now I suffer
as insanity’s buffer
you tell me loneliness is a killer
I laugh, knowing she is my lover
You compromise dreams
For security, a paved road and bright beams
I ignore advice
Your mediocrity, I view as a child fears lice
You hide behind a façade of nice
Not once, more even than twice
